The 3rd International Conference on Systematic Innovation & 3rd Global TRIZCON 2012 in Korea (icsiGTRIZ) will gather researchers, industrial practitioners, and students to share theoretical and technological advances in Systematic Innovation and TRIZ which include product and service innovation and systematic innovation tools and techniques. The conference will contain plenary speeches/tutorials by world renowned SI/TRIZ researchers/practitioners and technical sessions. Research papers and applied case studies are all welcome. The Venue of the conference will be at Yonsei University (www.yonsei.ac.kr)– One of the most reputable and scenic universities in South Korea. TRIZ has been most pervasive and best applied in South Korea. Participants will be able to witness how Korean major companies use TRIZ tools to dramatically elevate their global competitiveness.

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for review and potential publications in the International Journal of Systematic Innovation. Please see the conference web site for the paper selection process. Optional pre-conference (July 9, 2012) tours paid by participants will be available. The conference official language is English. However, Chinese and Korean papers are acceptable for evaluation. First 40 paid international registrants will be offered a one-day free pre-conference scenic tour of Seoul, Korea.

Topics of interest (tracks) include, but are not limited to:
  1. At 3rd Global TRIZCON 2012 in Korea, Only all TRIZ related topics (see www.KoreaTRIZCON.kr)
  2. At 3rd Internal Conference on Systematic Innovation (see www.icsi-conf.org)
    1. Strategic & Business Aspects of Systematic Product/Process/Service Innovation
    2. Technical Aspects of Systematic Product/Process/Service Innovation:
      1. 1)  TRIZ-based systematic innovation:
        1. Development of TRIZ-based theories and tools.
        2. TRIZ-based opportunity identification and problem solving applications.
      2. 2)  Non-TRIZ based systematic Innovation:
        1. Nature or bio-inspired Tools for Systematic Innovation
        2. Theories & Applications of Systematic Innovative Product/Process/System Designs
        3. Theories/Knowledge/Tools integrated with or related to Systematic Innovation tools such as:
          Lateral Thinking, Vertical Thinking, 6 Thinking Hats, Neural Linguistic Programming, Axiomatic Design, VA/VE, 6 Sigma, QFD, Dominant Innovation Tools, Patent Management, etc.
    3. Theories and applications for education/training of systematic innovation.
    4. Other new tools, theories, and applications related to or can be integrated with systematic innovation.

ABSTRACT/FULL PAPER SUBMISSIONS

  • Identify your preferences in the technical area(s) of interest listed above (tracks) in order to assist us in arranging your presentation at an appropriate session.
  • Submit either a 1-page abstract or an extended abstract of 2-3 pages to include contributions and main ideas sufficient for preliminary evaluation. Include the following details in your extended abstract/full paper: Title, Name of Author(s), Affiliation(s), and full address of the corresponding author, including E-mail address, phone, and fax numbers. 1-page short abstracts are acceptable. Extended abstracts are encouraged for better evaluation. Please download templates from the ICSI web site.

  • Full papers in WORD format and/or Presentation files in power point format are acceptable for final submissions.
    (To submit the paper to the 3rd Global TRIZCON 2012 in Korea, about 16 pages PPT file is O.K.)

CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS & TUTORIALS

Authors are encouraged to organize special sessions or tutorials in the topics relevant to the Conference. Interested session organizers are requested to submit proposals, include the title for the session, title of articles, and a list of participating authors and their affiliations, to the Conference Committee at icsiGTRIZ@systematic-innovation.org and at lkw@kpu.ac.kr (on Global TRIZCON 2012 in Korea).
